    This is an informative article, I do question the pre approved finance though as this will knock your credit score around if you don't go on to financing. Bit of a catch 22, I get that you need pre approved finance but how do you get it and save the credit score?

    A pre-approval from a lender is effectively the same as when you go to a site that tells you how much you can borrow. The lender doesn't do a credit check on you for a pre-approval so it won't affect your "score". A Pre-Approval are sales tool more than anything

    Great article, especially for us newbies just starting out. Where is the best place to network and find a good buyer's agent? I will be talking to a few real estate agents soon, but I get the impression that these professional buyer's agents are more specialised and perhaps work more independantly from a real estate agency?
