I am wondering if anyone has any experience relating to stamp duty payable in a case of changing the ownership amount on a property with tenants in common (ie 50/50% to 90/10%) this is in the state of QLD any help would be appreciated as I have had conflicting advice from both legal and accountant teams

I haven't any direct experience of this in Qld but reading the relevant section of the OSR (Qld) website it looks like you will be liable to a stamp duty adjustment.

If in doubt ring/write to the OSR in Qld. They will be the adjudicator of any fee (or not).
