I have purchased a property with tenants on a fixed term lease. I am very unhappy with with the Property Manager and do not wish to use them. I have not signed anything with them. What are my options?

    Hi Geoff,
There's no requirement to use the agency as the property manager. You don't have an agency agreement with them. What area did you buy the property in? I'm a property manager if you need help with anything.

Sorry Geoff, still figuring out how to use this forum. I posted you an answer before but didn't see it pop up. Just testing this to see if it goes through.

Hello Geoff, you can walk away from that property manager/agency at anytime if you have not signed with them.

    Hi Geoff

Regardless of whether you have an agreement with the agency or not, you will need to give them 30 days notice, and find someone more suitable to your needs and concerns.

The property and therefore who manages it is essentially your decision.

    Good luck!
    Kim
