Hi there, I posted about adding an extra storey and got some good replies. I was wondering if anyone had any tips for cheap and quick renos - the most profitable cosmetic renos that someone can do. I wonder if that's the strategy to take in a market that's not doing so well at the moment...

Hi there,

You can't go wrong with new paint, flooring (floating timber or carpet - try bunnings for both), refaced kitchen (just new doors and handles, maybe a sink and possibly bench top), new light fittings and window furnishings. A tidy up in the yards (if not a unit) can also help.

Cheers
