The reason why the vast majority of us are investing in property is to provide ourselves with financial independence at retirement. However many investors seem vague on exactly how they will be able to derive an income stream from their assets once they have reached that stage in their lives.

    such bad advice!
YOU NEED TO KNOW WHAT YOUR PLAN IS GENERALLY AS YOU NEED TO PURCHASE IN THE RIGHT STRUCTURE!!!!! If not, you will pay for it dearly if you get sued or if your partner divorces you after you busted your arse making this happen.

Im not sure which Bank is going to lend to you if you're not working and in retirement. Yes you may have equity locked up in a number of properties and income from rent, but without a working salary it might be difficult to draw on that equity.
