We first met Mathew Cosgrove back in late 2009, when he was runner-up in that year’s Investor of the Year competition. Then 25, environmental scientist Mathew had amassed a portfolio worth $3.7m across four sites that he was steadily developing, with an eye to retiring at 35. The amazing thing was that he’d amassed this portfolio in just three years from a starting sum of just $20,000.

Excellent foresight Matthew, opportunities arise when faced with problem solving-Having a positive family that can see the benefits is a huge plus for you, along with a salary that helps keep the banks quite happy.
congratulations ,look forward to your next project. B&L Sedgman

One can only hope that they sold off the plan before last November. There is a glut of rentals with none to little movement in Moranbah and Dysart at the moment. Investors who bought in flooded the rental market when their properties came out of settlement in January and February this year. Rents have fallen significantly and if you can get a tenant good on you! The whole problem is arising from FIFO workers and a blue with the CFMEU.
