As a property investor, you want to work with the most reliable people to help you build up your portfolio. But how do you know who’s in your corner or who’s out to get you?

Good article overall, if pretty basic... a couple of comments from a 30-year (12 in Australia) veteran of buyer agency:
    - too much 'advertorial' for PIPA and REBAA.
    - privacy and client confidentiality puts giving out client details to strangers 'off-the-table'.
Article ends with: "It is important to know that, at this time, there are no laws in place to protect property investors or to govern how those in the industry operate." This is untrue; Consumer legislation fraud law and state licensure 'protect' every consumer of goods and services, including services from 'those in the industry.' We don't need more laws, we need to actually apply existing laws effectively, to deal with those who go to great lengths to circumvent them
