    A very timely article! I am an SMSF auditor and see trustees with the best of intentions make the mistakes mentioned above. If ever in doubt, ask an advisor or your auditor before decision making, they are there to help you keep your SMSF on track :)

    Can an SMSF sell a property via an installment contract? Or via a Put-Call option?

    Can an SMSF buy a property via an installment contract? Or via a Put-Call option?

    If an SMSF purchases a property with cash, can a development be undertaken?

    Can we invest in property by SMSF as well as your savings. Suppose you have 100k in super as well as 100k in savings. Can we invest 200k together in a property? If yes, how?
