I bought land for $150000 in jan 2016 in Victoria and claimed no stam duty exemption. Hired a builder to built my first home but he went bankrupt after receiving $20000 from me. Now I am selling this property for $240000 (minus $10000 real estate agent fee). I want to use the profit to buy a house which is $575000. What will be my Stamp duty and CGT obligations. I make $85000 a year from my job.
