Working towards property investments

I'm looking for career advice from those who have successfully transitioned into property investors.

Currently, I'm 23 years old. I've graduated from uni and am working as an ESL teacher. However, I want to move into a career that will help me build skills, networks and industry knowledge towards my long term strategy of investing in property.
I'm strong with budgeting, numbers and strategy and have previously worked in operations as well as sales and customer service.

Are there particular pathways you would recommend? Should I begin applying for jobs in real estate (more likely buyers agents rather than sellers agents, seeing as buying is my ultimate goal)? Or should I begin by getting certified in real estate first?

Many thanks for your help!

Welcome, you could contact your local real estate agent or broker so that they give some idea to you.

I am new here but what I can think of is to start with attending workshops or training. That's the very least you can do as a start, then talk to popular real estate agents or agency and learn from them.
