    The mining boom is over. We are now in a period of sustainable prosperity. If you are considering investing in a mining town don't or at least consider carefully that most of the huge capital gains have already been gained by the early investors. If you own property in a mining town sell now before prices start decreasing and too many other investors decide to take their profits and get out causing a significant drop in property prices in mining towns
