Sydney’s Wolseley Road, in the harbour side enclave of Point Piper has cracked a top-10 list of the world’s most exclusive streets.

Compiled by Billionaire.com and international real estate agency Savills, the Top Ten Most Exclusive Streets list is made up of the streets with the highest average square metre residential property prices in the world.

The streets on the list have an average square metre residential property price between US$24,000 and US$114,000, with Wolseley Road sitting in sixth place with an average square metre price of US$44,000.

This is the second time the list has been compiled after Billionaire.com first put it together 18 months ago and a string of recent high profile sales helped Wolseley Road become the first Australian street to earn a place on the list.

According to Billionaire.com and Savills, over the last 18 months 130 Wolseley Road reportedly sold for $30 million and number 113 reportedly sold for $38 million.

Villa del Mare at 63-67 Wolseley Road, sold last October for $37 million, while number 112, $37 million according to reports.

The top spot on the list went to Hong Kong’s Peak Road, with an average price of US$114,000 per square metre, while Upper Fifth Avenue in New York took second place with an US$108,000 per square metre average.

Knightsbridge Road in London took third place with a US$103,000 square metre average, followed by Avenue Princesse Grace in Monaco at US$100,000.

Chemin du Sémaphore in the southern France’s Cap Ferrat claimed fifth spot at US$67,000, Paris’ Quai d’Orléans sitting seventh at US$41,000.

France claimed its third position on the list, with Avenue des Palmiers in Les Parcs de Saint-Tropez coming in at number eight at US$39,000.

Moscow’s Molochnyy Pereulok took out ninth position at US$30,500, while Ardmore Park in Singapore claimed the number 10 spot at US$24,000 per square metre.
