The most discounted properties in Australia

Are you considering discounting to make a sale? Spare a thought for the owners of these properties, some of whom have had to cut as much as 41% from their asking price.

The property on the market that has experienced the biggest markdown is in the Queensland suburb of Cedar Creek. The struggling owner of this property has had to knock a massive $491,000 from their initial asking price.

The property was listed for $1,190,000 last August, according to SQM Research, but has since been discounted by 41% as the vendor struggles to make a sale.
