Selling points: 
Salisbury East is relatively affordable for the region and generally possesses good block sizes. It is only 20km north of the city and offers a range of homes to suit everyone from first home buyers to investors to downsizers and families. There are numerous reserves and parks as well as amenities across the whole suburb.

There is also a relatively new retirement complex off of Fern Grove Boulevard.
 
Local industry and business:
There are numerous retail precincts in neighbouring suburbs such as Salisbury, Tea Tree Gully and Elizabeth which employ a lot of the local residents. Many of the residents also work in the Adelaide CBD across a range of industries.
 
Recent changes: 
A major recent change came in the early years of the millennium when a large section of what was formerly known as Salisbury East on the Eastern side of Bridge Road was renamed and reallocated to Gulfview Heights. 
 
Best streets: 
The newer streets in Salisbury East such as Gateway Drive, Cobbler Circuit and Creek Rise are very attractive streets located off the Golden Way and generally possess quite nice homes.
 
Public transport: 
There is a public bus service which runs through and around the suburb. Linking the suburb to Elizabeth, Tree Plaza and Golden Grove Interchanges as well as the Salisbury bus/train interchange. Buses also link the suburb to the city.
 
Main arteries: 
Smith Road, Clayson Road and Northbri Avenue are the major arteries through the suburb while there are numerous secondary arteries which also link the suburb to the major roads which run along the boundaries of Salisbury East being Main North Road, McIntyre Road,  The Grove Way and Bridge Road.
