Selling points: Mindarie is a northern coastal suburb 32km from to the CBD and forms part of the City of Wanneroo local government area. It is a private estate and has a relaxed community feel efficiently connected via rail, road, cycleway and walking paths.
 
The suburb was formally established in the mid 80’s with the construction of the Mindarie Marina and resort, with several shops, restaurants and schools throughout the rest of the area, but is primarily residential in character with bushland reserves and well maintained parks scattered through the suburb.
 
Most sought after properties: Waterside properties with private jetty and low maintenance apartments near the Mindarie Marina Resort.
 
Most common properties:  Four-bedroom family homes in close proximity to schools.
 
Top amenities: Mindarie Primary School and Mindarie Senior College are well regarded public schools. Peter Moyes and Quinns Baptist College all quality private schools. Spoilt for choice with gourmet food stores, restaurants, medical centres, sports facilities.   Ocean Keys Shopping Centre in Clarkson is situated adjacent to Mindarie on the east side of Marmion Avenue. Immediately south of the Mindarie Marina is Claytons Beach a popular spot for swimmers and surfers. A vast number of parks and reserves are situated all around the suburb.
 
Local industry and business: Residents commute to the city, work within the local community or are self-employed tradespeople, some operate businesses from the Ocean Keys commercial district just east of Mindarie.
 
Recent changes: A new Catalina residential estate to be developed by Satterley in Mindarie and Clarkson. The new estate's boundaries lay south of Neerabup Road (which is presently bushland blending into Tamala Park) and extend from the Joondalup railway line in eastern Clarkson, to the South.  The developers intend for the estate to eventually be re-gazetted as its own suburb.
 
Best streets: Clarecastle Retreat, Kinsale Drive, Mariners View, Ibiza Court the list goes on as ocean views are enjoyed by many properties throughout the suburb.
 
Public transport: Mindarie is served by the 481 and 482 bus routes to Clarkson railway station, which provides further bus and rail links to Joondalup as well as the rest of the Perth metropolitan area.
 
Main arteries: Marmion Avenue is the north-south arterial road that links Mindarie to the Perth metropolitan area in the south, as well as the outer northern suburb of Yanchep. Connolly Drive and Wanneroo Road can also be accessed via Hester Avenue, north-east of the suburb. 
 
Anchorage Drive South, Rothesay Heights and Bellport Parade act as the main distributor roads throughout Mindarie.
