What do you do when you go to the experts and you don’t agree with their financial plan?
This is exactly the position Narelle and Tane found themselves in. Going as far as having heated arguments because the Financial Planner was not listening to what Narelle and Tane wanted as an asset base. That asset base is property - because they want to be able to see their asset, and whilst they understand that perhaps in the long run, shares might generate money, they disclosed that neither of them would sleep for that whole time!
And here is the kicker…
This is above the sleep deprivation they were already experiencing at this time with 4-month-old twins! At a point where they were at their least financially stable they understood the need to use their money smarter. With the right experts behind them they restructured their budget and found money - even though they went from two full-time wages to one, with babies.
Having such a passion for property there’s no hesitation whether they CAN do it, it was just HOW they were going to do it. For Narelle and Tane it was always about setting up a strategy inclusive of their new little family. Leveraging the experts to understand the opportunities with property investing so that they could move forward with their portfolio, while still being able to go on holidays to Disneyland with the kids.
