Analysts have been predicting big results for the Brisbane property market for a few years now, but the poor jobs market hasn’t supported their rampant optimism

Disappointing read to have the entire Queensland Property market lumped into one category. If you have a house in the inner 10km of Brisbane you would have had 25-45% growth in the last 4-5 years. I understand not great compared to Sydney and Melbourne but still strong and our young folkes have a chance of entering the market. Perhaps the writer purchased in the wrong area of qld?

Most areas of Brisbane are terrible. Queensland is still and will be for many years to come, a large country town.

We have a property about 20km outside Brosbane Cbd headong towards gold coast, and have zero capital growth in 10.years after second time in as many years, tenants have done $35,000 in damages and Westpac Insurance won't pay out even though ful landlords insurance and police reports.
